According to my wife, a former associate analyst and economist for a major investment (she now works for one of the trading exchanges)that although considerable sexual harrasment including inappropriate physical contact goes on, no one has formerally been able to sleep their way to an analyst positon, the poster here makes it sound like a formal recruitman program (Theres's also a scene in the beginning of the Working Girl where Melody Griffin is offered this type of career advancement opportunity. She immediately quits). In the advertising industry, a company I worked for allegedly hired a girl to really service an account paying 3 times the going rate in cash plus under the table coke. When rumors of this found its way to the client's company he resigned and my old company rumor had it, paid him a $100,000 consulting fee (in the early 90s) as hush money.
