I like round resumes. I hate corners since they cut your fingers. Corners suck. Actually resume sending sucks. Mass mailing resumes is for the retarded birds. There are so many better ways to get the job even if it's just a posted job. Trust me. First, read this article

When I found out that I was getting an interview, I called up the company, got a name of someone who worked in the department that I was interviewing in, talked to a guy who was going to be interviewing me anyhow, got great rapport, and made damn sure that he knew me from the millions of other resumes. It's like this. If you're at a bar and there's a hot chick at the bar and there's the usual 9 bazillion sausages around, you don't stand in front and wait for her to take notice of you, and you don't get drunk and make yourself a nuisance and embarassment. You've got to smoothly get her attention, follow up with confident and pertinent conversation and let her know exactly why you're the best guy in the bar through your words and actions. In the job search, it's no different. It's still working your mojo but for money instead of sex... :)
