I don't know exactly what kind of job you're looking for, but I am guessing it's computer related. One thing that would help you get experience is if you can find a non-profit organization who needs a web page designed, or a network set up, or whatever it is you have the skills to do. If you can take on a project (probably with no pay), you can at least have something useful to put on your resume. Or else try the contract companies -- even if they just have a short assignment for you.
Hope this helps. |

The last poster is right, you need experience, but we don't quite know what job you are looking for.
There aren't any entry-level positions in IT available for generalists.
If you have some kind of specific IT skill like database admin, networking, web page design, programming, etc, get a job doing that no matter how little it pays. Work for minimum wage.
Once you have just a single year of experience, you should have no problem finding a much better paying job.
