To make a long story short... I used to be very comfortable making cold calls in general. But I've been in a job for a couple of years that hasn't required me to flex my 'cold-call' muscles and I am rusty to say the least. Combined with a slow PE/VC job market and a glut of i-bankers on the market, and I need to ratched my skills back up pronto.
My question is this... does anyone have a good rap going for calling on PE/VCs given the current state of the market?
Just out of curiousity in the broader topic... does anyone have any ideas/suggestions for cold-calling potential employers?
