*The company is seeking an undergrad and you are an MBA or hold other advanced degrees. They are seeking a more junior person for a reason.
*You held that position 10 years ago.
*You have held management positions in the past, but the secretaries will have more clout than you will.
*You have socks older than the hiring manager.
