In Reply To: Let's offer up some words of wisdom on how to channel your anxiety, fear and depression into positive action that will get you an interview!
Message: First, you are the common denominator in your life. No matter what has happened to you - you have been there - you will always be there. Take away all of the other factors, and you're still right there in the middle of it. I suggest you start by taking responsibility for your own life, your circumstances and your current job status. Taking responsibility does not mean beating yourself up, flogging youself for your mistakes - just recognizing that whatever has happened to you to this point in your life is the result of your CHOICES. It just is what it is. You chose your educational path, you chose your profession. You chose it all. You don't get to affix blame for your condition on anybody else. Remember, whenever things have gotten screwed up - you've always been there. You are the common denominator. OK - now you can get on with it.
