I have to thank you for the best laugh I have had the entire 2 weeks I have been kicking back on my patio with my laptop recovering from the flu/bronchitis.
An attorney, the least trusted and most reviled profession on the planet, dissing honorably employed HR people and automobile salespeople.
Ah, jeez!!! Yer killin me! Ease up - I'm having a coughing fit!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm really going to miss these little chats when I go back to work Monday. |

Attorneys are officers of the court, and as such have a higher role in the system than just greedy guys out to make money.
Attorneys work under strict code of ethics. A class in ethics and professional responsiblity is required to graduate from law school, and passing the Multistate Professional Responsibiliy Exam is required in most states.
If the profession is perceived bad to the outside world, it's the fault of a few, not the many.
If anything is bringing down the profession, it's oversupply of lawyers. Blame the law schools for that.
