I am thinking that recruiting for both MBA's and undergrads will improve remarkably this coming fall. I believe this is so because companies usually start these recruits nearly one year after they are made an offer (which means August of 2003 or around that time). What do you guys think of this?
Also, I am currently an undergrad who is interviewing for on campus jobs, but feel that my chances of getting a position that out on my own will be much more difficult once school ends. If anyone has had an experience like this and was looking towards corporate finance or consulting...please reply.
I hope that all of the people out there who haven't found jobs yet aren't losing hope. Good times are coming, I wish you guys much luck. |

Based on latest job creation numbers(up) and new unemployment claims (down), I think you could be right - for 2003 grads. But it could also be sector/industry sensitive - some areas got spanked pretty hard in this last recession and may not be bouncing back as quick.
