Some recruiters ask about your GMAT scores during interviews.
The GMAT, according to ETS brochure, is supposed to be used ONLY for b-school admission. That is, the ETS only reports GMAT scores to b-schools, and b-schools shouldn't share it with anyone else.
If this is true, then how can recruiters find out whether you lie about your score to them?

If I was hiring people I'd be very interested in GMAT scores because it's really an intelligence test, and if I was trying to hire the most intelligent people, that would be a big clue.
Bill Gates believed in hiring the most intelligent people, and look where that got him!
How can they verify it? They would ask you to see your score report.
