If she financed her education that way, she couldn't afford to take too many courses at the same time on a Starbucks salary, plus depending on how demanding the major and the institution are and logistics like travel to class (since our Starbucks worker obviously wasn't living in a dorm), its difficult to handle a full load while working a full time job. Her seven years is not the same as someone taking 7 years to get their undergrad while being a full time student. |

I wouldn't hire someone who took 7 years to graduate from college... at least not if there was a good candiate who finished in 4 years.
