There are those who respond to ads like the above, and hope for ads to come along that match exactly what they do, or send resumes to ads that aren't matches and let HR toss the resumes.
And there are those who are more proactive, and find jobs through networking, or through agressive sales tactics that get past HR and directly to the decision maker. |

and I should add that I personally am not very good at sales stuff.
Coming to grip with one's weaknesses, not something that most people do.
I don't want any poor out of work people think I'm talking down to them, or saying it's their own fault they are unemployed.
"Fault" implies moral turpitude.
