In Reply To: what i usually do is just call up the company and ask for the recruitment manager. Ask the recruitment manager if there are any openings or are they currently recruiting at the moment. If they're recruiting you can then mail/email your resume to the recruitment manager directly. If they're not recruiting then perhaps you can politely ask the recruitment manager if you could just mail her your resume so that she could file it up and notify you when an opening arises. Of course this will depend whether the manager does file up potential resumes. I know many companies that do that so that they would have a list of potential candidate to look at when they decide to recruit. Even though you get employed or change jobs keep them updated and maybe just one day they would see that you've already acquired enough experience or skills to fit into the company. Otherwise you can check up the company website but mind you that these websites are usually not up to date information. I had an experience where i mailed my resume directly to the name that was listed on the website but after 1 week and i still had no reply i decided to do some research and found out that the name listed on the website left the company ages ago and thus my resume would've been left unattended. Until today i'm not sure if i missed a job opportunity or not. I would strongly advice against sending multiple resume to different ppl in the company. Not only do this provide a hassle for the HR or recruitment manager to file up but it is confusing. I've also read from many company websites that specifically mention to candidates to only send in your resume via 1 source. Would be delighted to hear out other job seeker's comments and experiences cheers
Message: in many cases, those files of resumes become so big, diverse, and outdated that it's easier to advertise for the specific quals you want, so many openings bypass the resumes on file.
