hi everyone. after sending out an assortment of cover letters and resumes, my question is how long you would wait to follow up with a phone call (provided you have the contact's phone number, and the ad/posting did not say that you are not allowed to call). any ideas? and, what questions should you ask/what do you say? "just following up, did you get my resume/see it/consider it?" THANKS! |

Tell them your situation and them send them your resume. People will look at your resume and overlook certain things if they have a personal connection to you. Otherwise, you are just another piece of paper.
