The question is would you hire me for a posiiton based on that intelligence despite an eclectic non-cookie cutter background and me being an ex-Syracuse Orangeman (I know you are an ex-Redman)if I actually have experience with everything required of the job. |

Actually, it's Yazbro that's the Redman -- I just walk to SJU for exercise, which I need a lot more of. And yes, I'd hire you if I was still working, but only if you promised to stop calling people pinheads. In fact, I once interviewed a woman with 2 degrees from Syracuse and almost hired her -- she was a very close #2. More to the point, I once hired a woman who had never been to college, but knew more about her job than all of the experts, with their multiple degrees, who were supposed to give her their expert advice. And yes, HR was the biggest obstacle to hiring her, but I never called them pinheads.
