Imagine my surprise today when I drove 50 miles to Job Finders International in Santa Ana CA for what I thought was an interview with a Recruiter only to discover that they are a "Marketing" firm that expects the Candidate to pay them a fee up front for "Career Counseling". Anybody have any experience with these Marketing firms disguising themselves as Recruiters? |

I had a similar experience with a company in Woodland Hills but figured it out in time to avoid driving fram Santa Barbara to LA.
The worst about these guys is that they run advertisements about position that (in my opinion) do not exist. Considering the stress of searching for a new job, I frankly don't think anyone needs that.
