I just interviewed with a major dotcom in Atlanta that is actually hiring people, not firing them. I wore a sportjacket and slacks. My hiring mgr wore JEANS!=equals ttotal embarassment on my part. Besides my clothes miscalculation i think the interview went well and i will know if i made it to the second round by midweek. Will my overly formal wardrobe count harshly against me? I think if i had gone in there supercasual then it would have shown a lack of respect and caring about the job even if the employees are casual.
If anyone reads my entire diatribe, please give me your opinions.
