Agree that Rena Rowan stuff is great -- it's actually a lower-priced line of Jones New York. Jones stuff is gorgeous but is more expensive -- only on sale.
Most department stores of the Macy's/L&T/Dillards/Bon Marche/etc. genre are getting a good selection of plus-sized suits. Most will also have their own line (Charter Club is one) that is more moderately priced than Rena Rowan/Jones New York. As with all department store shopping, it will eventually go on sale, so shop carefully. I've found that certain branches have bigger plus-size departments -- you might ask the staff if there's a store that has a bigger department.
Liz Claiborne's Elisabeth line has some good stuff, too (again, pricey).
