This is why I don't waste my time with headhunters. All or nothing thinking is always dumb. A person who is not working may be in that status for many reasons, including by choice like I am. I don't understand why employers prefer a person obviously not completely engaged in their current job because they are looking for a new one, over someone free and unencumbered. |

As unemployment continues to grow, there will be more and more very qualified people unemployed and looking for work. I would think that an unemployed person who is actively looking for work may come with a smaller price tag than someone who is already on a payroll somewhere else.
