I would greatly appreciate any suggestions from anyone regarding potential career paths. Briefly, I live in the UK and hold a postgraduate degree in political ecomomy. I have been working for over a year as an economic/political analyst specialising in oil and gas in the middle east (I have basic Arabic - written and spoken), a subject on which I've now written several hundred articles.
I have also done a considerable amount of economic forecasting and worked on global oil demand models.
I'm looking to relocate to N. America and would really appreciate any suggestions regarding what sort of opportunities there might be in similar/related fields and how to go about a job search from here (I have Canadian citizenship).
