I meet with HR, I asked her to whom would I report to and she said the Director for that specific department. She said that the interview I went for(which was with her)was only first round interviews to see what I had been doing and what I hope to accomplish. I never meet with the person to whom I was going to work for only HR. I dont know if to contact the Director, if I already got a rejection letter. I was only writing out of fustration that I they never gave me a chance to talk to the person who hould have the final say to hire me or not and I know I'm qualified and the stupid reason they gave makes me even more upset. I almost called her to ask what she meant by that, but of course that would have been stupid...*sigh* |

In that case, you were screened out by HR for what is probably dumb psycho-babble reasons not related to your ability to do the job. Maybe you gave the wrong answer to "where do you see yourself in five years." It's my opinion that there are many highly qualified people out there who don't have a good answer to that question.
Did you get the name of the Director you'd be reporting to? Then it's easy to call him and explain that you are highly qualified for the position and you'd like an opportunity to meet with him.
