In Reply To: I am a Junior with excellent grades from a top 5 undergraduate business school and great work experience. To date I have not recieved an offer. My search has been set back by taking a semester abroad and present economic conditions. I am not sure where to look anymore. Does anybody have any reccomendations on companies who may still be interested or alternative experiences that I can pursue??
Message: Ever thought of starting your own business? It doesn't matter what it is, as long as you demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and an ability to take risk. Future employers would love this. That's what I did, and I got quite a few job offers just because of this! Don't worry about failing. As an undergraduate, one is young enough to go to jail, as long as its not for muder, and still have enough time to get a career on track!! PS: After that experience, I said to heck with a Fortune 500 upon gradutaion and started my own consulting business. After 2 years now, I'm making much more than my former classmates.
