Hi,
I am about to start my 2nd year of a top ten MBA program. I am interested in pursuing a career in investor relations (preferably at a hedge fund of course but Im open to suggestions right now). I have no marketing background (but I am highly creative so I know Id be good at it- I just didnt want to intern at some CPG company marketing pampers)! I have a solid finance background (risk management at a top tier i-bank) and am working for a start-up PE firm this summer. Does anyone have suggestions for how to break into investor relations and what the salaries & bonuses are like?
