As a consultant to hiring managers, I'd be interested to know from a candidates point of view, what annoys you most about your job search process, and what could hiring managers do better?

To tell you off line, chapter and verse about not only what hiring managers do wrong but what recruiters do wrong as well. What I want to say is not for a public forum.
