Too all those who think the RA job is ridiculous, it's probably because you are too lazy to perform well at it. If you're looking for an easy, slow-paced desk job, where you do a couple hours of work a day and jerk around for the rest, this is not the job for you. You will be fired within your first week, guaranteed. However, if you have a good attitude as well as work ethic, there are tons of opportunity for advancement there. Yes, it is all commission based, but don't let that fool you. I've had paychecks around $4000 for 2 weeks of work and I've been there 3 months. I graduated w/ my MBA from Kellogg and did my undergrad @ IU and turned down tons of well paying number crunching desk jobs. If you want to get into a good company that's growing at an enormous rate, that'll make you tons of money if you work hard, now's the ideal time (think ESOP & Microsoft). If you're lazy and have a shitty attitude- don't waste your time, you won't last.
