In Reply To: I find that the vast majority of recruiters are insensitive and not very knowledgeable about the positions they call about. Also, most are very poor at presenting you to HR. The most irritating issue is that most recruiters don't have access to the hiring manager so they are not very clear about what the company and hiring manager are looking for in a candidate. It seems that most HR people are overwhelmed with otheri ssues within their companies and are reluctant to move the hiring process forward. Also, they never give any feedback. I find that most don't even contact you to let you know that they are not interested in pursuing you as a candidate.
Message: The primary problem with HR personel is that the vast majority of them are mainly benefits cooridinators and don't really have much of an idea how to hire a person; most of their ability extends to having someone "fill-out a form."
