Hi, I am sort of in the same position. I have an MBA and an undergrad in Finance. I have been having trouble finding a permanent job that I like so I have been doing alot of contract work.
Employers now think that I don't like to stay at one place. That is not true, I just need a chance.
Head Hunters are great but make sure you use one that you trust, try to get names from friends that have had good experiences.
I am starting to get interviews now after five months of searching, and I think I am close.
Just say that you took some time to really think about what you want to do and now you are ready to start a career path using the skills you aquired in school.
Hope this helps and let me know.
Good Luck. |

Yes, I am on the same both with you. It is now almost 2 years that I graduated - with an MBA. The job market in Atlanta area is bad,and you don't know the job hunters to be trusted. Sad story.
Thank you for sharing your experience, I thought I was alone.
