I am going to call a number of recruitment firms. I was wondering if others might share their experience on how to proceed? Should I insist to meet the recruiter in person - or will a phone interview suffice?
Is there any way to determine if the recruiter is good or bad? And what makes a recruiter good or bad? Are there any red flags to look our for?
Should I be at all guarded when speaking with a recruiter?
Thanks for your help,
Paul

recruiters are a pain unless you are senior level mgmt. dont be all guarded up just make sure you only let them send your resume to jobs and companies you would be interested in applying too. NEVER LET THEM SEND YOUR RESUME TO ANYONE WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION!! if you do they will just flood it to every company they can and pretty much ruin any chance you have of getting a job.
