Apply for M.B.A. programs AND continue your job search...but consider doing so by securing professional help from someone experienced in job-GETTING, not just assistance to job hunters, of one kind or another.
That way, you'll get a good job that can fund the cost of obtaining an M.B.A. degree.
With a job at a GOOD company, you might get your M.B.A. tuition totally or partially paid for by your employer.
As you noted, with each passing day, you are a little bit less marketable. A little bit less perceived by employers as a desirable applicant.
