I started working in RTP, NC as a clinical data programmer. I always worked in a relaxed flexible environment and it paid well.
Last year I got sick of the cold weather and moved to Florida. I landed a consulting job but the hours are long and the office politics are too much for me to handle.
Quite honestly, my dream job would be to telecommute or work in a laid back office, where I can write SAS code, PL/SQL code, build Oracle Clinical studies, anything that is analytical and creative.
In NC there was plenty of opportunities. Is there any networking group, industry, recruiter I should seek out in Florida?
