In Reply To: Hi RussRudy and TXMBAGUY, It took me some time to step away and think about things. At first I was extremely angry because I felt betrayed. Now I'm focusing on moving forward. I realize that because I quit instead of letting them fire me, I relinquished most of the legal recourse I could have had. I was too proud to let them embarrass me further. My lesson has been learned, and while I would rather not have this happen again, I want to be better prepared in case it does. I have since been hired at another company, and am so much happier here than at that last gig. I see it as a classic case of one door closing so another one can open. You never know with the cutthroat corporate culture nowadays, but I sure hope this doesn't happen again. Thanks.
Message: Regardless of who you work for you should also keep a file on your employer and why not they keep one on you. One can never tell when it will be needed. The perfect company could become your worse nightmare. Good luck on your new job and please pick up a copy of the book Corporate Confidential and read it because it has some very good information.
