After working for more than 8 years at one company and progressing steadily, I made a drastic industry/career change. Unfortunately, I then held four jobs in 6 years, through a combination of insufficient due diligence and the economy (i.e., dotcom layoffs). Now, I truly wish to work in a solid company with a great track record so that I can remedy my own track record and get deep experience and move up in one firm over time. How do I convince interviewers that I'm not just a job hopper adn that I'm ready for the long haul?
