Here's my situation. There are two candidates for a position in out company. We are both Customer Service reps - being interviewed for a Pricing Analyst position. Not a direct promotion but a much better job (pay-wise). I've only been with the company a year. I have my Bachelor's in marketing. Pricing analyst reports directly to director of marketing. However, I'm up against someone with 15+ years experience with the company and at least 10 with customer service. Job description states "Bachelor Degreee Required" only (no or relevent experience). Any tips on how to interview to exploit my advantages (more proficient with the financial side, recent college classes, BA etc..)? Also, how much stock should I put in the fact that it states Bachelor degree required. Thank you all for your input. |

I forgot to state ther person I'm up against does not have any college degree. Also, I've been told that were are the only candidates (will not interview outside candidates). Thanks again for any help.
