I'm deciding whether I should give it a try to a premium service on Monster.com or Guru.com, hoping to generate more responses. Monster charges $9/month ($16 the first month), and Guru charges $150/year. Would it be worth it? Feedbacks would be appreciated. |

Think of job hunting as a Marketing problem, not a resume distribution problem.
Target hiring authorities only.
Consider using a marketing letter to capture their attention and interest. Hold off on surrendering your resume until AFTER interest has been expressed in what you can do for the hiring authority.
In other words, focus on strategies and tactics designed to GET INTERVIEWS with hiring authorities, rather than on trying to "get a job".
