I will begin a new part-time job in September. Since it will only be 10-15 hours a week, I'll need a second job. There is another position I am qualified for at the same company. Should I ask my future boss whether he could put in a good word for me? During the interview, he apologized there were so few hours, but said that if I get my foot in the door, there may be other opportunities.
