As alluded to in the title and the discussion topic, I am desperately seeking advice or help in networking in Jackson, MS. My wife has transferred there for a fellowship in clinical neuropsychology and we plan to move there in August. I know absolutely noone there as we are both originally from Canada. I have a masters degree in Human Resources and have applied for a number of positions there but have heard nothing so far. I realize that there is/are 1) a lot of competition, 2) few jobs. However, Jackson has a lot of manufacturing companies and I have lots of varied expereince in these environments. If anyone out there knows someone, who knows someone, I sure would appreciate it if you could let me know.
