In Reply To: I've been desperately trying to find a job in NYC for the past few weeks, and I've been going to a bunch of different placement agencies... most of them ask for GPA, and to be 100% honest, I don't know mine exactly. It's somewhere shy of a 2.9, but much higher in my major. Anyway, here is my problem: I told a recruiter that I had a 3.1, and they sent me to a VERY reputable law firm for an interview, and now I've been asked back for 2nd rounds of the interview. Now the recruiter has decided to ask for my TRANSCRIPT.... so I'm screwed. Any advice about the most diplomatic way to bite the bullet? The thing here is, I'm now in LOVE with this job, in fact, the hours are long & the job is really intense for being my FIRST real professional job. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone had any words of wisdom. (Please spare me the lectures about lying & ethics, I know it was wrong, I learned a valuable lesson & cheaters never prosper.)
Message: I meant to write: I'm *NOT* in LOVE with the job. It's a 50/50 thing - great salary, definately impressive firm, but the hours (up to 70 hours a week!) will basically ruin any chance of having a social life.
