I was working as a risk management consultant for a reputable firm right out of college for about a year. I realized that consulting was not a carreer for me, and I am currently trying to transition into my passion for trading. The problem is that a entry level position in trading is elusive to find if you are off-cycle, and many bulge banks draw from their analyst classes that are already filled. Does anyone have any advice on how to pursue a career in trading (institutional, prop, or private)? Any help on search engines, job posting websites (beyond the typical websites), and other career path advice. Thanks. |
