Does anybody have real life knowledge and/or experience about trading & grain merchandising positions within General Mills. I've started talking to them about a position but want to know 1) is it a solid company to work for and 2) would they support me continuing my education through them---objective is an MBA.
I currently work for Cargill and went through a reorganization. I worked very diligently to obtain another position within the company but now feel frustrated, and don't see the future I want. I feel it's time for a fresh start and thinking about focusing excess time & energy developing myself instead of spending 80% of my time traveling and doing something that does not excite me.
I recently turned 27 so I feel I've still got time to obtain an MBA while getting a fresh start within a new company. Then I could market myself to bigger and better things? Thoughts, ideas?
