Is your problem:
1) Can't FIND good openings?
2) Can't GET INTERVIEWS for openings you're interested in?
3) Combination of the above?
4) Other.
Recruiters won't be any help if you are NOT looking to make a lateral move within the insurance industry, because employers will rarely pay their fee for someone coming from another industry.

It's tough switching careers. I am trying to go from insurance to finance/banking. I don't have the experience, so I am not considered for the job. I'll prob. have to take an entry level position.
