I took a job at a prop trading firm (my first real job out of college, following two years of volunteer work in Central America). I was desperate for a job at the time but two years after being hired I kmow this is not the firm nor the job for me to grow with. I would ideally like to get a trading job with a big bank and get a good education in the business. I have a BA in economics and International Affairs from the Univ. of Colorado-Boulder(3.1 GPA). I am fluent in two other foreign languages and have all of the appropriate licences (7,63,55). I don't want to be cornered into a job as a proprietary day trader and know I will excel with a better firm. Any suggestions? All opinions and help is welcomed and appreciated.
