Hi all, I am having an interview for equity research (undergraduate entry) with a major buy-side fund.
Can anybody offer any advice on how to prepare? Are they gonna ask a lot of accounting questions(balabce sheet, income statement, etc)? or valuation methods like DCF?
I am from engineering background, how far should I go about preparing? any advice highly appreciated.
thx! |

If this is an entry level position you will probably not get a lot of accounting or finance questions. However, you need to show that you are interested in these areas.
Express interest inlearning financial analysis. Tell them you plan to register for the CFA once you get settled. Have your story straight as to why you want to do equity research.
good luck
