PhD in Neuroscience - where can I go in finance? |

I need a change from my uni-faceted career in science. I'm interested in learning more about how companies finance operations and would like to be a part of structuring those transactions and most importantly coming into contact with professionals not exactly in my field. So far, ECM and M&A in banking look most interesting. I also found that some Reinsurance companies hire PhDs as underwriters- a job that could also satisfy my craving for a multidimensional environment. Anyone here know of PhDs in finance? (I worked as an intern in a research dept for 5 months at a small investmt bank before starting my PhD).
