I am one of those helpless people trying to get into banking, but have found no luck. I havent found too much help on the actually 'I-Banking' forum so I thought I'd give it a shot over here. State school grad 2004. Internship with Smith Barney, worked for ML Private Client Group, and had entrepreneur opportunity. I am looking to get into banking. How responsive are companies with calling into actual firms? Who should I ask for if I call in and there isnt a name for a recruiter/ HR rep? I need to land an interview. That is the important step. I know I cna sell myself afterwards. Any advice would be helpful.
