I am an attorney who graduated in 2004. I took and passed the July 2004 bar exam. I have been actively searching for a job since Nov 04 and still no job.
I have tried both legal and non-legal jobs and both seem to be very picky about experience. Even though I did internships, those don't seem to be enough.
Am I doing something wrong or is the market just really tight right now?

Hi
I recently graduated with a masters degree, and have lots of education but very little experience. In fact, I worked for 8 months and have some internships. I do have some interviews, but when it comes to experience, I get left behind. In fact even undergrads with 1 year experience see better candidates. And I have had interviews after many many many application postings. And networking has not helped as much as I thought it would. I can understand your situation completely. I do hope it works out for you. By the way I graduated in February 2005.
