In Reply To: Yes, this is the typical mind set of a recruiter and future employer, that you potentially look like a job hopper. The flip side of the coin is that companies are filing bankruptcy and downsizing like crazy. I've had five jobs in the last five years, all due to companies going bankrupt, lying or not knowing their own requirements, or downsizing due to the economy. At least you have many skills that you can use in a variety of positions. It could be much worse, you could be stuck in a profession or skill that's basically obsolete, or have worked several years at one company without formal education. Good luck.
Message: After reading through the advice on this thread, I can understand, sympathize, and relate to your problem having been in your position myself during my varied career. I agree with some of the advice I have read but not all of it. But, it is all "food for thought." It does appear that you would benefit from well spent time in soul searching what is your next step, goal, or direction will be, make a plan, and stick with it. Even if you take a job to pay the bills, stick with your long term goal. I like the advice about looking into Vault's legal board and asking questions that may help you find some direction in your pursuit of law and animal rights. Just a suggestion, perhaps some research into animal rights organizations will find reveal some networking information regarding your career choices. Remember stick with your plan and Good Luck.
