While I don't believe it is common practice for companies to be willing to discuss the interview and/or reasons you were not selected for the position, I do believe it is a good opportunity for you to learn about some weaknesses that may have come to surface during your interview. I recently was rejected for a position as well and contacted the company looking for feedback about the pplusses and minuses of the interview, however it was "against company policy" to discuss such things. Had an interview scheduled with a BB...
2 days before they sent me a letter stating: "sorry, you have not been chosen for an interview".
Turned out to be the IT system breakdown - the interview took place as negotiated.
