I had my 3rd interview 2 weeks ago and i was told 3 days ago that they had not yet reached a decision. I checked the corp. web site, however , and the job posting was removed as of yesterday. Does that mean they've hired someone? Does it mean they are ready to make a decision? I called to follow up yesterday, but I haven't heard back. Do corp. recruiters typically call back with a rejection or will they make me wait for the dreaded letter? |

It probably means they've been inundated with resumes and don't want to receive any additional.
It might mean they have done all the interviewing they plan to and will make a decision soon.
Or their website could be set to expire all job postings at X days from the date of posting.
Some companies let rejected candidates know by mail only, some make a phone call and some don't do anything at all.
Your best bet is to be thorough and follow up with the hiring manager.
