I just had a first job interview and was surprised that the interviewer revealed the compensation. Does this mean that the compensation will not be negotiable if I eventually get an offer? |

Here's my best advice to you....
1. You don't get what you want.
2. You don't get what you deserve.
3. You don't get what's casually mentioned in an interview.
4. Heck, you don't even get what you're worth.
What do you get?????
You will only get what you negotiate. Every time a job is offered, every aspect of that offer is negotiable. Doesn't mean you'll get what you ask for - that really depends upon your negotiating skills and strengths.
I guarantee you this: If you don't ask - you most certainly will not get what you want.
Hope this helps!
