This is a good time to be looking for work in London since the numbers of Americans wishing to move there just dropped significantly. And it is probably safer to live in London than in a similar US city: the terrorist threat is about the same on both sides of the Atlantic (and the level of non-terrorist violence is much higher in the US.)

what is the best way then to find a job? Should I contact the firms directly? Go through a headhunter? Bear in mind that I'm still a college senior, and my experience comes through my internships and my working for the fund part time during the regular semester.
