Hi ,
Am currently on a H1 visa working as a consultant in the IT divsion at a bulge bracket investment bank . Am looking to shift into a permanent position at equivalent bank or a fin institution such as S&P , CGEY , KPMG etc ... I have about 2.5 years of experience - 1.5 years in the US - and mostly work with Microsoft based solutions. Whats the best way to approach these big firms
a. thru referrals from people who are working there
b. submitting my resume online on their website or thru job boards
c. goin thru recruiting firms like kforce which work for these big banks
Any suggestions would be appreciated...if u have managed a shift from consulting to permanent jobs I want to hear ur story
